7. Marin County Civic Center
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Marin County Civic Center has a scenic path that leads to a balcony overlooking a water fountain and the city of San Rafael. (Of course, the teams probably didn't appreciate much of the scenery at 4 or 5 AM.)

At the end of the balcony, we placed the seventh clue, a paper Safeway shopping bag filled with various groceries. At least one team, expecting just another envelope, insisted that the clue was missing, apparently considering it totally normal to find several bags full of groceries on top of a building at 5 AM (*cough* The Grannies).

On the side of the paper bag was written yet another seven letter code: ocquckr.

There weren't many new developments with the story here. Typing "analyze ocquckr" into the Networking Toolkit printed:

Dr. Dement seems to have left behind some groceries, don't you think?

We underestimated the number of teams who would make it to the seventh clue, so by the time The Think Tank arrived, the groceries had all been taken (or possibly removed by Civic Center security).
